Slater Senior Center

Volunteers are a gift to the community. The Slater Senior Center offers many opportunities to make a difference in someone's life. We have some very faithful volunteers who enjoy delivering meals to our homebound recipients.

Most home delivered meal recipients receive a hot meal delivered to their door five days per week.  Frozen meals are supplied to individuals for evening and weekend meals. If distance from the center makes daily delivery of meals difficult, some seniors may receive a delivery once a week of one hot meal and the balance in frozen meals.

Our congregate meal program offers delicious, well-balanced meals designed to meet the nutritional needs and expectations of seniors 60 and over. 

 We area open Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
